Heavy Vehicle Diesel & Hydraulic Mechanic Location - Ibri,Oman Salary - 200 OMR Free Food And Accommodation Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel & Hydraulic Mechanic with strong expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment and commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working on JCB machines, Shovels, MAN, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz trucks, and other heavy-duty vehicles. The candidate must be capable of independently troubleshooting diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Key Responsibilities - Diagnose and repair diesel engines on heavy vehicles and construction equipment. - Perform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, and motors. - Repair and service JCB equipment, Shovels/Loaders, MAN trucks, Volvo trucks, Mercedes-Benz trucks, and other heavy commercial vehicles. - Troubleshoot engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, steering, brake, and axle problems. - Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical and hydraulic faults. - Carry out preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing. - Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment efficiently. - Replace defective parts and ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards. - Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment. - Record repair work and report major faults to supervisors. Required Skills & Experience - Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel & Hydraulic Mechanic. - Excellent knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy vehicle systems. - Experience repairing: - JCB Backhoe Loaders & Excavators - Shovels/Wheel Loaders - MAN Trucks - Volvo Trucks - Mercedes-Benz Trucks - Other heavy commercial vehicles and construction equipment - Ability to read technical manuals and hydraulic diagrams. - Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work independently and under pressure. - Knowledge of workshop safety procedures.
